COMEDY CROWD CHORTS WINNER

Sadie’s sketch ‘Did You Say I’m a Survivor?’ wins the Comedy Crowd’s Chorts Judges Award 2021 (as judged by Laura Marks - Channel 4 Digital Content Commissioner, Joe Grace - Senior Producer Warner Bros and Matt Campion - Creative Director Spirit Media) and it has since been picked up by NBC Universal to be shown on their YouTube Channel. You can watch the full sketch, which Clark also stars in, here.

Algorithms Wins Stage to Screen New Voice Award

Incredibly chuffed to say that Algorithms won the Edinburgh TV Festival’s ‘Stage to Screen’ New Voice Award (supported by Netflix). It was a really fun night at the award ceremony at Rich Mix and the music they chose for me to walk on stage to was Lizzo - which anyone who’s seen Algorithms will know was a very fitting choice. The prize is a year of support from the Edinburgh TV festival and industry professionals, as well as getting to go to the Edinburgh TV Festival this August.

Algorithms at Soho Theatre

Absolutely thrilled to announce that the bisexual Bridget Jones is back! Algorithms is heading to Soho Theatre for a week long run Tues 10 - Sat 14 March 2:45pm & 7:15pm. I can’t wait to return to Soho where this show first began on the Writer’s Lab. If you fancy coming along to laugh and cry about the perils of online dating and social media tickets can be purchased here.

12 Theatre Stars of 2020

Well, after a stonking summer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where Algorithms sold out its run, transferred to The Pleasance, Islington as part of their ‘Best of the Fringe’ season and went on tour to Birmingham for SHOUT Festival I had the LOVELY news that I’d been named one of The Guardian’s ‘12 Theatre Stars for 2020’. Honestly could not think of a better way to end the year.

We will have more exciting news to announce regarding Algorithms’ return to London this year, and an Autumn 2020 Tour so watch this space…

Algorithms Goes to Edinburgh Fringe

Following the success of the Algorithms work in progress performances at Soho Theatre (which sold out within 24 hours!) I am taking the show to Edinburgh with a team of brilliant creatives. The play will run from July 31st to August 26th at 12:45pm at the Pleasance Courtyard in a new venue, Baby Grand. The Pleasance is my favourite Edinburgh venue and I’m so excited to be performing there this year. It’s been a dream to take my own show up to the Fringe ever since I first went eight years ago, in 2011. You can book tickets here.

More Improv Fun!

I've got another two comedy improv gigs coming up! The first is on Monday 22nd May at The Miller (London Bridge) and will be my Level 4 Monkey Toast graduation show in which I'll be performing an Armando. Tickets can be bought here. Then on Friday 26th May I'll be performing with my team in the Free Association's 'Cage Match', an improv competition where two teams battle head to head and the audience decides the winner. Winners return to defend their title at the next cage match... Tickets for that here.

Live comedy improv show!

On the 13th March I will be performing in my first ever live comedy improv show at The Miller in London Bridge! The show marks the end of my Level 3 training with the award-winning Monkey Toast and we will be performing the Harold. Come and see me playing a multitude of silly characters.  Tickets are £5 on the door with all the profits going to charitable organisation Crew For Calais, run by theatre and events technical staff who give up their time and money to travel to Calais to help refugees.
